Bullion and Collectible Are Two Different Prices
A common coin gets bullion value: metal weight times live spot, minus a thin margin. A scarce date, a low mintage, or a high grade is worth more than its metal, and melting it destroys that premium. We check dates and mintmarks before quoting, and we will tell you when a coin belongs at auction rather than with us.
Do Not Clean Your Coins
Cleaning is the single most common way people lose money on a coin collection. A cleaned coin can drop a large fraction of its collector value and cannot be undone. Bring coins exactly as you found them.
Graded Slabs Welcome
PCGS, NGC, and other graded holders are fine as-is — leave them sealed. The grade on the slab is part of what we are paying for.
